Located in Silver Spring, Md. in suburban Washington, DC. Moshe's Auto Care has been owned and operated by Nandor "Moshe" Katz since 1993. Our goal is to provide each customer the highest quality, honest and affordable repairs and service that their car, small truck or SUV needs.

Shop owner and lead technician Nandor "Moshe" Katz is a native of Budapest, Hungary where he studied and became a certified auto-technician. He escaped communist Hungary in 1980 to Israel where he continued his technician career, working on small boat engines, a period working on large ships and he worked for Israel's largest Volvo truck and car dealer. In 1990 he came to the US and immediately was hired by DC's largest Volvo dealer as an auto-technician.

After two years at the dealership, he couldn't help but notice that they were talking about "Customer Service", but in the overall running of the operations, customer service would take a back seat to the financial bottom line. Tired of not seeing customers get the level of service they deserved, Moshe decided to open his own auto repair service and do it his way. When Moshe started Moshe's Auto Care in 1993, he actually was a "mobile auto care" mechanic. Loaded with tools and in his Ford van, he would travel to a customer's home or business and repair their vehicles. When he had built up a devoted clientele he rented a space in order to do larger repairs and not do repairs outside in the cold and ice!

In 2006 Alerio a Japanese car expert auto-technician joined our team to better serve the growing number of Japanese car owners.

Moshe's Auto Care has grown our reputation one satisfied customer at a time. We are proud to be servicing cars at this location since 1993.
